Clear Bag Policy
To enhance safety and expedite entry, only the following bags are permitted into Samford Athletics venues:
Permitted Bags
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar)
- Medically necessary bags (subject to inspection)
- Diaper bags accompanying a child (subject to inspection)
Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted, including inside clear bags:
- Backpacks
- Purses
- Camera bags
- Fanny packs
- Drawstring bags
- Duffel bags
- Totes
- Briefcases
- Coolers
- Luggage
All permitted bags are subject to inspection upon entry.

Prohibited Items
- Animals — Service animals are permitted
- Artificial Noisemakers — Bells, horns, whistles, cow bells, etc.
- Banners / Flags / Signs — That are commercial, political, or offensive in nature
- Cameras — With telephoto lenses over 6″ long
- Cans / Glass Bottles — Empty plastic/metallic cups or bottles are permitted
- Seat Backs — Larger than a single seat (16″ wide)
- Bags — Clear Bags over 12″ x 6″ x 12″
- Food & Drink — Outside food and/or drink, including alcohol (Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs.)
- Large Electronics
- Selfie Sticks / Tripods / Poles
- Strollers / Carseats / Non-ADA Compliant Mobility Devices
- Umbrellas
- Alcohol
- Weapons and Firearms — And/or any other item deemed dangerous, unnecessary, inappropriate or suspicious in nature
Parking
Samford University collectively strives to provide adequate parking in a format that serves the needs of the campus and allows for a workable and safe traffic flow pattern. This effort is best achieved when all members of the campus community work together and understand parking processes, policies, and parking assignments. Knowing when and where to park is critical at achieving this mission .
Faculty/Staff Ticket Benefits
Do Faculty/Staff receive complimentary tickets?
Yes, Faculty and staff receive the following complimentary tickets:
• Football: 2 complimentary tickets
• Men's Basketball: 2 complimentary tickets
• Baseball: 2 complimentary tickets
• All Other Ticketed Sports: 4 complimentary tickets
• Soccer: No ticket required (free admission)
Student Tickets
Do students receive complimentary tickets?
Yes, students receive free entry into all regular season home athletic events by showing their current student ID at the entrance of the venue.
Digital TIckets
Going digital makes getting into the game easier than ever! Your tickets are always with you on your smartphone, making them simple to access, share (when eligible), and scan for a quick and seamless entry.
